The company’s production process is supported by electricity sourced in its entirety from renewable sources. The newly built building that is the company’s headquarters features a roof of state-of-the-art photovoltaic panels. In addition, all stages of production are followed in-house, again reducing the environmental impact that transportation entails.
The processing waste (mainly the feather rib), being organic matter, becomes a compound for agricultural use. A research process is also currently underway with the University of Naples to transform the feather rib into a fiber for use in packaging systems.
